In the third episode of The Wes Talbert Show entitled Outwork Everybody, our host Wes Talbert speaks with special guest Kevin Klug, founder and CEO of Klug Fitness. Kevin has toured as the personal trainer for superstars Lady Antebellum (2014-2015) and Sam Hunt (2016-2017). He along with his twin brother, Karl Klug, have been elite athletes since they were young. Kevin says that “fitness is the best investment” and that you must “outwork everybody” to succeed in every facet of life. His story of entrepreneurship is inspiring and his personality entertaining. It was a joy to have him on the show.

It was great sitting down with Chris Pyle, CEO of Champion Solutions Group, earlier this week to discuss NetApp HCI. This hyper converged infrastructure solution (HCI) has been called evolutionary by Gartner and recognized as the lowest TCO by Evaluator Group. Studio Testing Live Stream to Periscope

Did my first live stream from the studio over Periscope earlier today as a test. The live streaming device I use is 4K capable, but it did not provide a stream quality selection for Periscope and appears to have broadcast at 540p. By comparison, it allows choices up to 1080p for live streaming on YouTube. The microphone was set to the maximum amplification, so there is a bit of echo. During clearing of the throat it hit gnarly peaks as well. Next broadcast I will turn the microphone down 2 or 3 notches.

When the live stream was initiated on Periscope, it automatically tweeted and embedded the live stream video on my Twitter account which was a nice touch. The replay can also be found on Periscope.

Cloud Expo 2017 Santa Clara Interview

I had the opportunity for a brief interview on Cloud Expo TV at their Santa Clara, California event in late 2017 to sit down and discuss the business value offered by a number of the solutions at NetApp. First time doing this specific interview format. The discussion with the interviewer was less than 60 seconds beforehand, so essentially no prep. Enjoyable conversation!
